The No Ka Oi Films Journey
1. Booking Complete: You've Secured Your Date
Once you've paid the deposit and signed the contract, your date is officially secured! Congratulations! You’ve taken the first step toward creating lasting memories.
2. Ongoing Communication: We're Here for You
Most likely we’ve already chatted over Zoom or the phone before you booked. The communication doesn’t end there though! If you ever have questions or want to discuss your wedding plans in more detail, we offer the option to schedule a Zoom/phone call. These calls are a great way to connect, clarify details, and ensure everything is on track for your big day. Schedule a call here
3. Flexible Packages: Tailor Your Experience
Our deposit structure makes it easy to book your wedding. You can always upgrade your package or add on additional services (like Super 8 film or multi-day event coverage) at any point up to your wedding day. Pricing and packages are linked below to browse any add-ons you may want. Some popular add-ons include:
Multi-Day Event Coverage: Welcome parties, rehearsal dinners, sunset sails, luaus, or other adventures.
Super 8 Film: Add a timeless, nostalgic touch to your wedding story.
Teaser Film: One of the more popular films, delivered within one week of your wedding date
4. Questionnaire: Finalizing the Details
About one month before your wedding, we’ll send you a detailed questionnaire. This helps us:
Understand your timeline and key moments.
Capture your unique style and vision.
Confirm any last-minute upgrades or changes.
5. Your Wedding Day(s): Filming Begins
Whether we’re documenting a single day or a multi-day event, we’ll be there to capture every detail, emotion, and moment that makes your wedding uniquely yours.
6. Post-Production: Crafting Your Films
After your wedding, the editing process begins. This takes up to 4 months as we meticulously craft your films to tell your story in the most beautiful way possible. If you didn’t initially purchase a film or RAW footage, you have up to one year to add one to your package.
7. Delivery: Reliving Your Day
Once your films are ready, you’ll receive them digitally to enjoy and share with loved ones. Use the Download Film button to make a copy of your films for yourself. Here is an example of what your webpage will look like:

Music plays a big role in setting the tone for your wedding film! Send us a list of your favorite songs—this helps us understand your style and musical preferences. While we use licensed music for any film over one minute, knowing what you love allows us to select a track that truly fits your wedding day vibe.
Sharing Vendor Info
Once you’ve booked your photographer and wedding planner, please send us their contact information and Instagram handles. We’ll reach out to them directly to establish a connection and ensure we’re all aligned for your big day. Personal Vows
Writing personal vows is one of the most meaningful things you can do for your wedding day—not just for your film, but for the experience itself. Whether you choose to share them privately or during the ceremony, it creates an intimate and emotional moment that truly enhances your film. Trust us, after filming hundreds of weddings, these moments always stand out as some of the most cherished!
